Let’s learn about the incredible world of insects! Students will go on an Interpreter-led hike to observe different insect habitats along the Indian Springs Metropark nature trails. Our guided activities teach students to identify the parts of an insect and to understand how those parts help an insect survive. The hike route may traverse level, composite wood boardwalks and hilly mixed gravel and grass pathways.

Program is partially outdoors, so students should be dressed for the weather. Close-toed shoes are recommended.
