Program Description:

Discover how energy flows through the parts of a food chain. Observe live animal interactions to gain an understanding of the connections between parts of a food chain. Discuss what different types of plants and animals need to survive and grow. Students will act out the function of producers, consumers, and decomposers to build a model of a Michigan food web, including a dramatization of how humans can impact the environment. This program features a visit with Ranger, a live red-tailed hawk.
