Program Description:

Where does milk come from? How does a milking machine work? What does a goat eat? How many eggs will a chicken lay in a year? Your students will be able to answer these questions and more as they get up close to the animals on a working farm. By asking questions based on experiences and observations, students will be able to identify the physical needs of domesticated farm animals, both mammal and fowl, and recognize products from the farm as goods they use or consume at home. Students will also discover how changes in technology have made modern farming what it is today.
