Students will discover what early settlers to Ray Township would have encountered as they worked to turn rustic wilderness into valuable farmland. Learn about the history of the Grist Mill, while engaging in a variety of hands-on activities early settlers would have experienced. From candle dipping to butter making, grain milling and more, students will learn how all these skills were critical to the survival of the local community. This program is available April – July.
