Indian Springs Metropark has a variety of ecosystems that support Michigan flora and fauna populations. During this in-depth program, students will explore several habitats to learn how living and non-living components interact with each other to keep ecosystems functioning. Students will use scientific tools to collect samples from each habitat and analyze the data to compare and contrast the different environments. The hike route may traverse level, composite wood boardwalks and hilly mixed gravel and grass pathways.
