It’s all about survival of the fittest in this predator-prey focused program. Students will learn the definitions of predator and prey and how to differentiate between the two by identifying specific physical characteristics unique to each role. Students will discover how predators use a combination of physical characteristics (claws, teeth, etc.) and various hunting techniques to capture prey and how prey use their keen senses and defensive behaviors to escape predators. Students will then work in groups to create the ultimate predator or prey animal.
