Monarch & Hummingbird Fest

Bring the whole family to Lake St. Clair Metropark for a bright, buzzing celebration of monarch butterflies and hummingbirds!

Explore the trails together on short, family-friendly hikes as you search for live pollinators and see these incredible creatures up close. Along the way, learn how monarchs and hummingbirds travel through our gardens, sip nectar, and play a big role in helping plants grow—all in fun, easy-to-understand ways for kids and adults alike.

Stop by interactive learning stations, enjoy hands-on activities, and dive into colorful crafts and games designed especially for kids ages 4–8. This playful, nature-filled experience will inspire young explorers (and their grown-ups) to appreciate pollinators and discover simple ways to help them right at home.

Pre-registration is not required.
