ACTIVE EXPLORER: HURON MEADOWS – Paddle Adventures

Overview:
Paddle the scenic Huron River with your own kayak/canoe

SUGGESTED ROUTE:
Start:  Park and unload at Cedar Ridge Picnic Area
Stop 1: Carry your canoe or kayak to the Huron River launch point and begin your paddle downstream
Stop 2: Continue along the river’s natural corridor, enjoying wildlife, wooded shoreline, and open stretches of water
Wrap up: Return to shore, pack up your gear, and head back to your vehicle

Optional: Switch to or explore the calm waters of Maltby Lake near the golf course for a more relaxed boating experience
