This is an opportunity for you to get up close to the various baby animals at the farm. An animal handler will be in each barn to help you pet the baby animals. Visit each barn at your leisure, take pictures and ask questions. Petting baby farm animals is fun for everyone! Time: 10 a.m.-Noon & 1 - 3 p.m.

Geocache Treasure Hunt-Mini Camp

The ultimate egg hunt!  Learn how to read GPS coordinates and then use your new tech savvy skills to follow GPS clues around the park. If you follow the clues correctly, an egg with treasure inside waits for you at the end!  This is a drop-off mini camp program. Please have a sack lunch, water bottle, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Remember, boots are best, trails can be wet during the spring! Ages 8 and up. Please preregister, (248) 625-7280.

Behind the Scenes Spring Break Camp

This drop-off mini-camp program will allow kids the chance to work alongside our nature center interpreters. Designed to be educational and fun, kids will go behind the scenes to meet all the nature center’s animals, including turtles, salamanders, snakes, and the red-tailed hawk, Ranger. They will learn more about properly keeping animals in captivity by performing hands-on tasks such as feeding and watering animals. They’ll also get outdoors to check the trails and work on wildlife identification skills. Ages: 7 and up

Homeschool: Awesome Opossum
