Our Young Outdoor Explorers program is a time for your young child to explore nature. This month, we’ll explore our sense of touch, sight, and hearing, while discovering life in a small stream. Kids will be able to venture into this stream with a small net to see what animals they can find. They’ll feel and hear the water flowing around their legs. They’ll use magnifiers to get a close-up look at the small animals they find. Water shoes are required to participate. A spare change of dry clothes and a towel are highly recommended. This outdoor program is designed to give your three to six-year-olds a sensory-exploration of nature. This program is held entirely outdoors. The program begins at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon., please register for your specific time slot. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
