Our Young Outdoor Explorer’s program is a time for your young child to explore nature. This month, we’ll explore using our sense of sight and smell to find different flowers growing at the park. We’ll discover why flowers are different colors then examine the flowers to see if they have any animal visitors. We’ll take a ½ mile hike along the dirt and gravel nature trail and have activities in the mowed lawn near the Activity Center. This outdoor program is designed to give your three to six-year-olds a sensory-exploration of nature. This program is held hourly at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon, please book your time slot at registration. This program is held entirely outdoors. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
