Wildflowers of Summer

Late summer sees the final act of blooming wildflowers, and it is spectacular! Purple Coneflower, Gray Coneflower, Rudbeckia, Asters and many more beauties grow wild in your park. Join us for a leisurely 1.5-mile walk along the trials in search of these beauties. We’ll discuss growing some of these plants in your garden, look for pollinators, and learn some interesting facts about each plant.

Ages 7 and up.

Time: 11a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult

Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center Entrance

Pre-registration is required by August 20 at 4 p.m.
