Did “ewe” know sheep are important livestock to create fiber that humans use for so many different purposes? Join us as we give our flock its yearly haircut and watch a professional sheep shearer as they shear our flock of sheep. Learn what happens to the wool once the sheep is shorn and the many different uses for this renewable resource. A wool craft is included in the program to make onsite or take home. Tours start every half hour between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Face coverings are required.
Fun for all ages!
Times: 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (max 24 people per time slot)
Cost: $3 per person, children under 2 are Free!
Location: Wolcott Mill Metropark, Farm Center
