Science Olympiad: Amazing Arthropods 2

Need help getting your team ready for Science Olympiad? Session 2 participants will have the opportunity to test their knowledge in a “mock event” (5 stations) using the Science Olympiad tournament format. An Interpreter will engage students using a variety of interactive study tools. Content focus: Arthropod Species List, visually recognize and describe the unique physical and behavioral characteristics, discuss biology, ecology, and conservation of each species, and economic impacts. The Nature Center will have coach-led study stations set up for teams to try out their existing knowledge. Program lasts 2.5 hours.
Grades 3rd – 6th.
Time: 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $6 per student
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center – Map Me
