Raising Monarchs 101

Beautiful orange and black monarch butterflies are a common sight in the summer and fall. However, did you know that less than 10% of monarch eggs survive to become butterflies? There are many ways to help monarchs, from planting milkweed to raising monarchs in your home! Come learn some basics of the monarch butterfly and how to raise them. You’ll even take a milkweed seedling home to start your own butterfly garden.

Ages 8 and up.

Time: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 per person
