The Detroit River was a pretty busy place during Prohibition. Tremendous amounts of illegal liquor was entering the United States from Canada during the 1920’s and early 1930’s. Join us as we travel back to the era of blind pigs, rum-running and panther sweat; and we discuss the role the area around Lake Erie Metropark played during the Prohibition Era.
Ages 14 and up.
Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $5 per person
Location: Lake Erie Metropark, Marshlands Museum
