Not all insects give people the creeps! Butterflies are a favorite insect of nearly everyone. These colorful insects grace summer fields and gardens. The Monarch butterfly is famed for its life story as well as its beauty. Join us for a closer look at these gorgeous creatures, their life cycles, preservation and how you can help protect them in your own garden.

Ages 5 and up.

Time: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult

Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by August 13 at 4 p.m.
