MI Wild: Birds of Prey
April 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
When the trees are bare, it can be a great time to view Red-tailed hawks, Great Horned Owls, and even Bald Eagles in the park. Find out about special adaptations these types of birds have that make them excellent predators, what these birds need to survive and key characteristics for identification in the field. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair from us at the Nature Center and join our Interpreter for a guided hike to spot birds of prey in our park.
