Invert Investigators: In the Water

During the summer our marsh is full of small aquatic creatures, known as macroinvertebrates, that live just below the water’s surface. Take the afternoon to investigate the world of these creatures using pond dipping tools such as nets and magnifying lens to find and view them up close and personal. Then learn how to identify these incredible invertebrates to uncover why they are so important to our wetland!
Ages 7 and up.
Time: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $4 per child, $4 per adult
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center Entrance
