Homeschool: Michigan Geology

February 4 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Have you ever wondered why Michigan is shaped the way it is, or why some areas have lots of hills and others do not? We will investigate how glaciers shaped our landscape! Through hands-on, indoor activities with “Glacial Goo” and a stream table we will explore earth’s formations. Then we will head outside for walk to see landforms in our own backyard.

Ages 7 and up.

Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Cost: $6 per student

Location: Indian Springs Metropark, Environmental Discovery Center – Map Me
