March 26 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Friday, repeating until March 26, 2021
Hey homeschool families! We invite you to discover how unique maple sugaring is to the region and why. This program includes tapping a maple tree, watching the process of turning sap into syrup, and a tour of the Native American sugaring camp. Students achieve a higher leveling of understanding and respect toward the environment and the contributions of Native American people as well. Tours begin every half hour, last approximately one hour and are entirely outdoors. Participants will walk approximately a ¼ mile over uneven ground. Face coverings are required.
