Heritage Skills: Drills

April 25 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

From fire starting to boring holes, drills have been an essential tool throughout history. During this heritage skills class, we’ll learn the history, and many uses, of cord and pump drills and how they are made. There will be tools available for you to practice with and an opportunity to make a primitive cord drill to take home. Materials will be provided, preregistration is required.

Ages 10 and up.

Time: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Cost: $6 per person

Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center – Map Me
