End of Summer Bug Hunt & Hike

Grab a net as we seek out the weirdest bug in Oakwoods Metropark! Late summer brings us a symphony of buzzes, clicks and chirps coming from our insect musicians. We’ll hike through the forests and fields of Oakwoods Metropark, listening to and learning about our resident insects as we try our hand at capturing a few for some up-close viewing. We’ll supply the nets, but feel free to bring your own if you have one. Face coverings are encouraged.
Fun for all ages!
Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $5 per person
Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center Entrance
