Earth Day Birthday

April 25 @ 1:00 pm

It’s Earth Day’s 50th Birthday! Come out to the Nature Center to celebrate this momentous occasion. We’ll learn about the origins or Earth Day, and some of the laws that have helped protect our wild places. Then we’ll head outside for a hike and talk about what you can do to help keep our planet beautiful. We will discuss projects that you can do at home to be a better steward of your yard; such as planting native plants, helping pollinators in our garden, creating a Monarch Waystation, and providing bird nest boxes. You will also get to take home a simple project to get you started in your own backyard.
