Interested in historic crafts and skills? Staff from Chief Pontiac Programs are teaching hands-on classes in Blacksmithing, Woodworking, Bead Work, Fiber Arts, Pioneer Life Skills, and Rustic Cooking. This program is for teens and adults, and you will complete a project to take home during the class. Located at the Kensington Living History Village with parking at the Farm Center. 

Ages 14 and up.

Time: Saturday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 – 5 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  

Cost: $30 ages 14 – 21, $50 for Adults 21 – 60, $40 ages 60+, 

Location: Kensington Metropark, Farm Center – Map Me

Pre-registration is required through the Chief Pontiac Programs website

A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark.
