Are you daring enough to spend the day learning to survive in the woods? Build a survival hut, learn safe fire building and dousing practices, learn how to survive a bear attack, how to identify poisonous plants and venomous snakes, and more! Kids will have fun learning real wilderness survival skills by using survival tools and hiking off trail. We will be hiking on and off the nature trails. Meet out front of Kensington Metropark Nature Center. This program is entirely outdoors. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
Children ages 8 – 12
Time: 9 a.m. – noon.
Cost: $40 per child
Location: Kensington Metropark Nature Center.
