March 20 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Events Navigation
Discover the beauty and importance of our native Michigan trees while meeting requirements for the Webelos: Into the Woods elective. We’ll talk about types of trees, how they grow, how they give us a record of history, and their role in local ecosystems. We’ll also hit the mixed gravel nature trails to identify some of our trees and other plant species. Equipped with your new knowledge, you’ll be able to appreciate and experience the forest like never before! To accommodate for current Covid-19 precautions a portion of this program will be done virtually from 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Our in-person, entirely outside (rain or shine) portion of the program will meet in front of the nature center. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
