Boy Scout Webelos: Into the Wild
March 21 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Events Navigation
This scout program focuses on the respect and understanding of our natural world – we’ll learn about food chains, ecosystems, and how humans impact nature. We’ll look at some of Michigan’s native wildlife species and discover their roles within their ecosystems and how that relates to us. We’ll even put our observational skills to use and see what kind of critters we can observe around the Kensington Metropark Nature Area. To accommodate for our current Covid-19 precautions, a portion of this program will be done virtually from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Our in-person, entirely outside (rain or shine) portion of the program will meet in front of the nature center. Social distancing and face coverings are required.
