Take a behind the scenes tour of the Historic Wolcott Grist Mill. Explore this nearly 200-year-old building and hear the fascinating history of this iconic mill and the Wolcott family who lived here. There could even be a ghost story or two!
Dairy Day is good old-fashioned fun with something for everyone! Events include: cow milking at 10am, candle dipping, games, crafts, horse riding demonstrations, dog agility, kiddie tractors, gas powered planes, a milk mustache booth, wagon rides, and much more. Vendors will be on site with their handmade crafts and art. Enter our parade with your decorated (dairy or patriotic themed) bicycle, tricycle, wagon or stroller. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative!
Beat the summer heat with a sweet ice cream treat. Learn about the history of ice cream and try your hand at making a batch of this delicious dessert yourself. Dress to get messy. If you also attend the Dairy Day event at the Farm Center, program fee is only $1.
Spend the day relaxing by the Clinton River with dad. Take advantage of Michigan’s free fishing weekend cast a line or two at Wolcott. Learn a little more about our river and the fish that call it home. We will provide fishing poles and bait for you and your family, along with a snack and a drink.

This month, learn about fish biology, fishing tips and how to make your own lure. We will do catch and release only. Bring your own white or light-colored shirt to decorate too.
