“Wednesday Night Summer Series,” Wednesday, July 1 at 7 p.m., Nature Center. This new summer series features a different theme or animal every week! This week’s theme is forest homes. Fee: $3 per person. Pre-registration required.

“Tadpoles,” Saturday, July 11 at 10 a.m., Nature Center. For children age 2 to 5 years. Ms. Jennifer will focus on our national bird, the bald eagle. Fee: $4 per child. Pre-registration required.
“Nature NUTS,” Saturday, July 11 at 10 a.m., Nature Center. For children age 6 to 10 years. “Do Insects Bug You?” will be the topic. Fee: $4 per child. Pre-registration required.
“Butterfly Festival,” Saturday, July 11 from noon to 4 p.m., Nature Center. Celebrate the beautiful butterflies that grace our world. There are crafts for the kids and gardening tips for the whole family, plus live butterflies. Plus, learn how to create a butterfly sanctuary in your backyard. Fee: $3 per person.
