Where is Indian Springs Metropark located?
The park is in White Lake Township. From M-59 (westbound), take Teggerdine Road north to White Lake Road, west (left) on White Lake Road to the park entrance. From M-59 (eastbound), take Ormond Road north to White Lake Road, east (right) to the park entrance.
Are dogs allowed on the nature trails?
Dogs are not allowed on the nature trails located in the Nature Study Area. Dogs are allowed, on a six-foot leash, on the paved hike/bike trail.
What is all the construction for?
A new state-of-the-art Environmental Education Center is under construction at Indian Springs Metropark. In addition to an educational building and a pond, gardens and pathways are being built. We are also constructing a tunnel going under the road from the Environmental Education Center to the new Children's Adventure Playground.
