PARK AMENITIES
A beautiful 18-hole golf course, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a skatepark, a 17-acre pond, a hike-bike trail, a disc golf course, a children's play area, and groomed cross country ski trails make Willow Metropark an all-season getaway.

BIKING
A winding 4.5-mile paved trail circles the park and is connected to Oakwoods and Lower Huron Metroparks for a 30-mile round trip. Single speed 26" bicycles are available for rent at Washago Pond Picnic Area building.

COURT GAMES
Basketball courts are located near the pool complex. Volleyball and horseshoe equipment available upon request. Deposit required.


CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Ski more than six miles of marked, groomed trails, mostly over flat terrain, and including nearby Oakwoods and Lower Huron Metroparks. The Ski Touring Center (Washago Pond), open weekends and holidays for ski rentals, features a heated lounge and snacks. Phone 734-697-9l81 or 1-800-477-3182. Ski maps available at Ski Touring Center, Oakwoods Nature Center and Lower Huron Park Office.

DISC GOLF
Try our new 24-hole disc golf course located near Acorn Knoll Picnic Area. Free.


ENTERTAINMENT
Weekend summer programs and special events are held at the open air dance pavilion. Activities are held inside in case of inclement weather.


FISHING
Fishing poles are available, for free use, at Washago Pond. Shoreline fishing is available along the Huron River throughout the park, and at Washago Pond.


FOOD
The food bar is located near the swimming pool.


GOLF
Try this beautiful 6,378-yard, 18-hole regulation golf course and driving range. Entrance to the golf course is on Huron River Drive, just north of West Road. Club rental available. Special rates for Seniors (over 62) and Juniors (17 and under) weekdays only, except holidays.

ICE FISHING
Try ice fishing on Washago Pond.


ICE SKATING
Ice skating rinks for skating and hockey are located at Washago Pond.


PICNICKING
Picnic areas with grills, shelters and play equipment. Groups of 50 or more persons are asked to register at Lower Huron Park Office in advance. Picnic catering available.

SKATEPARK
A new skatepark near the pool complex features ramps, jumps, rails, stairs, quarter pipes and more. Separate days are designated for skateboarding/in-line skating or biking. All persons in the skatepark must wear helmets. Kneepads, elbow pads and wrist guards are recommended. The skatepark will be open and attended by park staff from 10 a.m. – dusk, daily, during the summer through Labor Day. From Labor Day through November 1, and from April 1 through Memorial Day, the skatepark will be open in the afternoon during the week, with longer hours on the weekend. Please call ahead for designated use days and hours of operation.



SWIMMING
An Olympic-sized swimming pool with separate diving area. Swimsuit with liner required. Pool hours: 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekends and holidays. Hours may be reduced from mid-August through Labor Day. Team rental available.

SLEDDING
Sledding hills are located near Washago Pond and at the Chestnut Picnic Area.


TOBOGGANNING
Tobogganing is allowed in designated areas of the sledding hills.
