| BIKING
Bicycle or inline skate around Stony Creek Lake on the paved 6.2 mile (10K) hike/bike trail. Single speed bicycles are available at Eastwood Beach daily and Baypoint Beach weekends only Memorial Day through Labor Day. |

| Mountain bikers and hikers enjoy our 14 miles of hilly, heavily wooded dirt trails that traverse the southwest side of the park. The Michigan Mountain Bike Association helps keep this area groomed. Helmets required on mountain bike trails. | |
| BIRDING
Visitors enjoy spotting a variety of birds, including migrating warblers and wild turkeys at Stony Creek Metropark. Nature interpreters maintain a park bird species list. Interpreters host a variety of birding programs throughout the year including a woodcock watch in the spring and owl prowls. |

| BOATING AND LAUNCHING
A six-ramp boat launch gives access to Stony Creek Lake. A 10 m.p.h. speed limit is enforced. A separate sailboard area is located near Eastwood Beach. |

Stony Creek Lake is a popular fishing spot for pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, perch, bluegills and crappies. The state record crappie was caught here! A barrier-free fishing pier is located on the west side of the Boat Launching Area. During the winter, ice fishing is available. Fishing from bridges is prohibited. |

Run or walk along three different length trails, with 20 exercise stations, located near Eastwood Beach. |

| GOLF

| HIKING
Stony Creek, Reflection Pond, dense woods, broad fields, forest edges and small wetlands all placed in a landscape formed ages ago by glaciers, provide the backdrop for the six miles of trails that course through the nature center area of the park. Moderately hilly terrain. Fourteen miles of trails, used by both mountain bikers and hikers, are located in the southwest side of the park. They are accessed at the West Branch Picnic Area. Hilly terrain. Walk or jog around Stony Creek Lake on the paved 6.2 mile (10K) hike/bike trail, five miles of trails at the Inwood section or the two miles at the Osprey Trail. Mostly flat terrain. |

| ICE SKATING
Ice skating rinks, for skating and hockey, are located on Stony Creek Lake near the Boat Rental Building. The rinks are lighted during the evening and vending machines are available. No skate rentals. Please call ahead for rink conditions. |

| ICE FISHING
An ice skating rink is located on Stony Creek Lake near the boat launch area; the warming building has a heated lobby and restrooms. Call ahead for weather conditions. |

| NATURE CENTER
See live snakes, turtles and fish, along with seasonal exhibits, at the nature center. Park interpreters host nature walks and interpretive programs including programs aboard a 34-foot Voyageur canoe. For additional information, contact the Nature Center at 586-781-9113. |

| PARTY/RECEPTION TENT
A white banquet tent with removable sidewalls can be rented for parties, for up to 300 people, through Crank's Catering by calling 586-582-0080. This tent is located with a picturesque view of Stony Creek Lake; a nearby gazebo provides a charming focal point for weddings or other social gatherings. |

Picnic areas with grills, shelters, playgrounds, baseball diamonds and soccer, volleyball and basketball courts are located throughout the park. Groups of 50 or more persons are requested to register at the Park Office in advance. Picnic shelters available for rent. Picnic catering through Crank's Catering. |

| SLEDDING

| SNOWBOARDING
Snowboarding is allowed on one hill designated for snowboards only, located near the Gladeview Picnic Area. Snowboarders must tether their snowboards to their ankles. Please call ahead for snow and weather conditions. |

| SWIMMING
Baypoint and Eastwood Beaches open 10 am to 8 pm throughout the summer; lifeguards at Eastwood Beach. Bath houses, food bars and first aid facilities. No fires, alcohol or glass containers permitted at the beaches. |

| TOBOGGANNING
The toboggan hill is located at West Branch Picnic Area, near F lot. |
