Bring your fishing rod and tackle box and cast your line in the crisp, morning water of the Huron River. A serene, natural setting and ample wildlife complete your experience. Common catches include smallmouth and largemouth bass. The area is well-known for fly-fishing, and there are good spots for shoreline fishing as well.
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
Geocaches are located throughout the Huron-Clinton Metroparks. If you wish to place a cache within a Metropark, see the rules, regulations, and site permit application.
