The Pere Marquette 1225’s 75th Birthday Season continues with a return to Howell for the first time during the Howell Melon Festival. Short train rides will be offered behind the world-famous steam engine. These trips will be approximately an hour long and will be boarding at the Historic Howell Train Depot.

The Pere Marquette 1225 is a 1941, 440 ton steam engine and is one of only six of this size that remains operational today.
