Junior Championship – Stony Creek Golf Course

18-hole stroke play for ages 13 - 18. 9-hole stroke play for ages 12 and younger. Each age group will have both a boy’s and a girl’s division. This three-day camp will offer children the opportunity to work, learn and have fun on a working farm.  This camp is for students who have finished kindergarten through the start of 8th grade.  Activities vary for ages, but could include a scavenger hunt, hike, candle dipping, felting, games, helping maintain the farm’s garden, crafts, of course doing the everyday farm chores and much more.  Please preregister, (586) 752-5932.

Magical beings have been turning up at Oakwoods for some time now. They have revealed themselves to me, and I have learned much about them. Fairies, Sprites, and now even the Gnomes are all calling these woods their home. During this camp you will learn all about them and maybe even get a rare glimpse of one. Searching for their doors is just part of this magical camp, you’ll be making your very own Fairy Door, Fairy Lantern and other Fairy keepsakes to take some magic home with you as well. Ages 6-12. Designed to be educational and fun, this program allows kids the chance to work alongside our farmers taking care of animals. Each program includes a chance to meet all of the farm’s animals. Kids will perform hands-on tasks such as feeding and watering animals, mucking stalls, and hauling hay and grain sacks. They will also get a chance to make a tasty farm food such as ice cream, bread, or cider. Space is limited and days fill up fast! For ages 8-15. Please preregister, (248) 684-8632.

Invasive Shrub Removal – Lower Huron Metropark
