Science Olympiad: Arthropods for Beginners

Need help getting your team ready for Science Olympiad? Beginner Arthropods will focus on recognizing Arthropod Classes and Insect Orders visually and by their basic biology and anatomy. Get some information and tips, then try out your team in a “mock event.” A variety of general topics identified in the Science Olympiad Study Guide will also be covered. If you have ever been interested in taking care of farm animals, then this is the program for you! Family Farm Chores allows you and your family a chance to assist a staff member as he/she feeds and cares for our farm animals. We encourage you to pet, take pictures and ask questions along the way. Please dress for the barn and outdoor weather conditions. Approximately 60 minutes. Limit of 6 people per session. Minimum age is 6 years old. Please call to preregister, (586) 752-5932.

Come out and participate in various STEM Adventures to “Do Your Best” in showing the Olympic Spirit while Scouting! This is an open event so bring friends and family to enjoy the day.
