April 5 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Explore Kensington Metropark’s woods and trails with an Interpreter on this hour long spring hike. Spring is the perfect time of year to search for signs of animals just waking up from a long winter’s nap and new flowers appearing on plants and trees. We’ll see if we find animal tracks in the mud, tadpoles in the pond, and any birds that have flown back from their winter migration. Wear good walking shoes. All planned trails are unpaved. Good for all ages, but bring a stroller. No registration necessary.
Time: 1 – 2 p.m.
Cost: $5 adult, $3 child
Location: Kensington Nature Center – Map Me
A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $35 annually for regular admission, $24 annually for seniors or $10 daily.
