Early American Skills Experience

June 16 - June 17

Overview:

This program is for teens and adults and will take place at the Living History Village at the Farm Center.  Learn skill like blacksmithing, woodworking, bead working, fiber arts, and pioneer life skills. Learn to cook on an open hearth, over a camp fire, and in a Dutch and brick oven. You will get to complete a project to take home during the class. Time:Saturday 8 a.m. – Noon; 1 – 5 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Cost: $30 ages 14 – 21, $40 age 60+, $50 Adults 21 – 60.

A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $35 annually for regular admission, $21 annually for seniors or $10 daily.
