Boy Scout Webelos: Into the Wild

November 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This scout program focuses on the respect and understanding of our natural world—we’ll use a variety of interactive approaches to learn about food chains, ecosystems, and how humans impact nature. We’ll look at some of Michigan’s native wildlife species and discover their role within their ecosystems and how that relates to us. We’ll even put our observational skills to use and see what kind of critters we can observe around the Kensington Metropark Nature Center. Please dress for the weather—this program will be both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.

Interested in more scouting adventures? Be sure to also come out for Saturday’s Webelos: Into the Woods to satisfy requirements for two electives in one weekend! Please preregister, (810) 227-8917.
