The Huron-Clinton Metroparks contain about 25 miles of free-flowing rivers, not including the countless small streams that meander through other area of the Metroparks. The Huron River, Clinton River, Stony Creek, and other streams together provide a range of habitat for a diverse array of plants, fish, birds, insects, and other wildlife. The Huron and Clinton Rivers also provide recreational activities such as fishing, paddling, and wildlife viewing that are enjoyed by thousands of people each year.
