Looking for a great gift for someone who loves the outdoors? Give the gift of unlimited access to 13 spectacular parks in Southeast Michigan by purchasing 2013 Huron-Clinton Metroparks annual vehicle entry or boat launching permits, which go on sale beginning Thursday, November 1.
Vehicle entry permits for 2013 are $25 regular and $15 senior citizen (62 and older). Metroparks annual boat launching permits are $30 regular and $15 senior citizen (62 and older).
Vehicle entry and boat launching annual permits will be on sale at the park offices located at Hudson Mills, Indian Springs, Kensington, Lake Erie, Lower Huron, Lake St. Clair, and Stony Creek Metroparks. Permits can also be purchased at the Administrative Offices of the Huron-Clinton Metroparks located near Brighton. Regular vehicle and boat permits are available at the Online Store as well. Vehicle entry permits are also sold at the Huron Meadows Metropark golf starter building, Oakwoods Metropark Nature Center, and the Environmental Discovery Center at Indian Springs Metropark.
In addition to these permits, the Huron-Clinton Metroparks and Oakland County Parks and Recreation Commission are offering a 2013 vehicle permit valid at all parks within both park systems. The $48 pass is valid throughout 2013, and can be purchased at Indian Springs, Kensington and Stony Creek Metroparks, the Metroparks Administrative Offices near Brighton, online at www.metroparks.com, and at six Oakland County Park locations.
CORPORATE DISCOUNT RATE
The Huron-Clinton Metroparks offer a corporate discount rate on its annual motor vehicle entry permits. When business organizations or government agencies purchase permits in quantities of 50-1,000, the permits are discounted from the regular $25, to $20 each, a 20 percent savings. When 1,001 or more are purchased at one time, they are discounted to $17 each, a more than 30 percent savings.
