Chillin' at the Mills Winter Festival

Hudson Mills Metropark Activity Center
Don’t hide from the cold – get out and have a day of winter fun on Saturday, January 26 from 11 am to 2 pm at Hudson Mills Metropark, northwest of Ann Arbor.
Try a variety of activities, including snow shoeing, snowsnake tossing and Klondike racing, and see dog sledding demos or explore your senses on a scavenger hunt! Activities are subject to change, depending on weather conditions.
After trying all the activities, kids and their parents can head to the Activity Center to warm up with hot chocolate and make a craft to take home. This is a family and Scout festival. Brownies will earn the Senses badge and Junior Girl Scouts will complete activities for the Journey Get Moving: Energy Insights from Wilderness & Wildlife badge.
The event is sponsored by the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan Council, REI and the Huron-Clinton Metroparks.

Event Fee: An event patch is available for $1.50 each. Program fee: $3 per person or $7.50 person which includes lunch.
