Kensington Metropark offers a beginner snowboarding hill. The hill is located in the Orchard picnic area in between the toboggan runs and sledding hills. Snowboards must be tethered to your ankle. Please walk up the designated returns only and be cautious of others using the hill. Sorry, we do not rent snowboards. The Orchard picnic area also offers a nearby shelter with picnic tables and grills. Hours are 11 am to dusk during the week and 10 am to dusk on the weekends, weather and hill/run conditions permitting. Test your skills and enjoy a snowy, winter day while snowboarding at Stony Creek Metropark. Coast down a designated hill "for snowboards only" near the Gladeview Picnic Area. Snowboards must be tethered to ankles. Please check this site for snow and weather conditions.
