On the first three Friday nights in August, celebrate the 60th anniversary of Godzilla, the Japanese original monster movie that ushered in an entirely new genre of movie entertainment. Be sure to come back Saturdays for the 50th anniversary restoration of A Hard Day's Night, one of the most popular and influential movie musicals ever made featuring The Beatles. Get ready. Set. Go to walk on behalf of blood cancer patients in need of bone marrow transplants on Saturday, August 9 at Stony Creek Metropark. Proceeds will be used to support patient services, patient research, and adding new potential donors to our national registry to provide bone marrow transplants for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell anemia and other life threatening diseases.
